The Lions Club Fashion 4 Vision annual Masquerade ball which was held last night on 11 June 2011 at the Kempinski hotel was an astounding success. To support this campaign, the first lady of the United Republic of Tanzania, who was the guest of honour of this fundraising event assisted in fundraising for this noble cause.

Mama Salma Kikwete was also made an honorary Lion Member, by the president of lions club of Dar Host, Lion Frank Goyayi.
“We are honor the first Lady Of the united Republic of Tanzania Mama Salma Kikwete as an honorary Lion member due to her contribution to society and her endless effort to serve the nation and its citizen.” Stated Frank Goyayi President of The lions club of Dar Host.
At the start studded event where by Fareed Kubanda (FID Q), Comedian Steve Nyerere, Designer Jamilla Vera Swai ,Mustafa Hassanali, Jokate Mwegelo, Former Miss Tanzania 2004 and Tacaids Commisioner, Faraja Kotta Nyalandu, Hip Hop artiste Chidi Benz, Designer Binti Africa, Miss Tanzania Universe 2011 Nelly Kamwelu, Face of Africa finalist Lilian Mduda, KIsura Tanzania Diana Ibrahim, Bang Magazine fashion Editor Elgiver Meena, well known Models Jamilla Nyangasa, Evanuru Isack, Campaign Model Nadia ahmed and celebrity Make up artiste Rehema Samo played a significant role to drive the fundraiser.
“More than TSH 15million has been raised from various organization and individuals, to whom we are very grateful, who have supported in our drive towards the mega Chalinze camp, we are still open to any more forthcoming donation towards the lions club.” Stated Mustafa Hassanali, organizer of the event.
