Renowned pan African designer Mustafa Hassanali shall unveil his new ‘afro glam collection 2011/2012’ at the Mamma MIA charity fashion show in Aid of the White Ribbon Alliance in Dar es salaam next week on 4 and 5 March 2011.
Mustafa Hassanali leads way by being the First designer in Tanzania to host a Free public show on 5 March at Mnazi mmoja ground whereby the public to enter shall contribute only Tanzania Shilling One hundred towards the charitable Cause for Safe Motherhood.
Mustafa Hassanali said “The mnazi mmoja event shall not only be the First free public event but shall also be the first event in the history of Africa whereby my ‘afroglam collection of 2011/2012’, will be streamed Live Online courtesy of Uhuruone so as to engage the Tanzanian Diaspora and international fashionista to be part of this advocacy cum charity event.”
The Mnazi Mmoja event shall be streamed Online by Uhuruone via www.mustafahassanali.net website at 1600HRS East African Standard Time.

The MAMMA MIA Fashion show on 4 – 5 March 2011 will feature designs by Mustafa Hassanali and Farouque Abdella from Zanzibar , The Event shall also feature pieces by award winning ethical fashion designers Minna Hepburn and Henrietta Ludgate, visiting British designers who have showcased their Collections at London fashion Week. Both The Shows will feature VIPs, Dignitaries and Tanzanian celebrity in the audience where by they will also be entertainment by various Tanzanian artistes.
Mamma Mia in Aid of White Ribbon Alliance in association with The Vodacom Foundation is also supported by Johns Hopkins Centre for Communication Programs in Tanzania, The Citizen, Uhuruone, Barclays Bank, Moevenpick Royal Palm Hotel, Ultimate Security, Novamedia, Darling Hair, Vayle Springs, Eventlites, Fashion 4 Health, image masters and 361 Degrees.
