The Hennessy Hitters wins with 135 vs 89 runs against the 'Not So Hot Chilies’ team, at the opening indoor cricket match that took place at Funkys Orbit yesterday, in Dar-es-Salaam.
Talking after the match, the team Captain of Hennessy Hitters Mr. Kishen Savani said, “Although we were expecting to win, this win is more exciting as it is our first game in the league”,
The game, which began at 2100Hrs, was attended by cricket fans from all parts of Dar-es-Salaam. The annual Indoor cricket league season began yesterday and runs through until 17th March.
“We promised to win this game, because we have a very strong trained squad, so watch out for the Hennessy Hitters” concluded the Captain Savani
During the game, the huge changes towards the win were influenced by Kevin Patel from Hennessy Hitters team, while Nadir and Imran Hirji duo got the highest runs for the team.
