KILIMANJARO MUSIC AWARDS 2013 LAUNCHED

The Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards 2013 was today launched in Dar es Salaam to recognise outstanding achievement in the local music industry over the past year.

George Kavishe, the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager Brand Manager said during the launch that Kilimanjaro Premium Lager was proud to stage the event for the 12th time consecutively with the aim of promoting music in Tanzania.

He said Kilimanjaro Premium Lager is committed to develop the music industry in Tanzania by recognising and awarding Tanzania’s finest music talents. “We want our musicians feel appreciated and recognized for the hard word they are doing and we want Tanzanians to appreciate local music and the contribution made by our musicians towards the economic development of the country”.

Kilimanjaro Premium Lager is very proud to be associated with these awards and it is hope that this year’s event will be bigger and better.  “We are also proud to announce the extension of our license by BASATA for the next five years. The signing of a new contract is a testimony that Kilimanjaro Premium Lager is truly committed to developing the Tanzania music industry as this will take us until 2018.
